Tabby is a browser extension and website (feedtabby.app). Contact: support@feedtabby.app.
The extension stores only numbers and category labels on your device using chrome.storage.local. This includes:
We never store or access: URLs, page titles, browsing history, form data, passwords, or cookies from your tabs. Incognito tabs are counted but never inspected.
If you use the negative-news feature, news article titles are scored by a local TensorFlow.js model bundled in the extension. This runs 100% on your device. Titles are discarded immediately after scoring. Nothing is sent to any server.
AI dialogue is off by default. If you turn it on, clicking the pet sends a coarse mood snapshot to api.feedtabby.app/api/dialogue. The snapshot contains:
This is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to return one line of dialogue. Nothing is stored server-side. Turn AI dialogue off and the extension returns to 100% local operation.
Activating a Pro license key sends the license key and a device fingerprint hash to api.feedtabby.app/api/validate. The fingerprint hash is derived from coarse browser signals — it is not a stored ID and cannot identify you. The API returns a signed JWT token cached locally. No personal profile is built.
Purchases are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details, billing address, or payment method information. PayPal's Privacy Policy governs all payment data. We receive only a payment confirmation (to issue your license key) and your email address (for license delivery and support).
feedtabby.app is a static site with no analytics and no tracking cookies. We set no cookies. PayPal may set its own cookies on PayPal's checkout pages (paypal.com), governed by PayPal's privacy policy. We store one flag — "notice dismissed" — in your browser's localStorage. This is not a cookie and is never sent to us.
The site and API run on Cloudflare, which as a CDN sees your IP address and request metadata. This is standard for all websites on the internet. Cloudflare uses this data solely for content delivery, DDoS protection, and security — not for user profiling. We do not access Cloudflare's raw request logs for profiling purposes.

Uninstalling the extension removes all local data from your device immediately.
Tabby is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new effective date. For significant changes, we may also notify you through the extension.
